PURPOSE:To obtain a pattern consisting of a combination of a vapor-deposited metallic pattern and a color pattern rich in three-dimensional feeling, by providing a vapor-deposited metallic layer by a hot stamping method, in a transfer foil obtained by providing a colored ink layer and a vapor-deposited metallic layer on a releasable base sheet and providing an adhesive layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:The colored ink layer 2 is provided on the releasable base sheet 1 by screen printing or other similar method. Next, the vapor-deposited metallic layer 3 is provided on, beneath or at the same level as the ink layer 2 by a hot stamping method. Then, the adhesive layer 4 is provided, whereby end parts of the vapor-deposited metallic patterns are pushed forward, resulting in the so- called concave shapes. When the transfer foil is transferred onto a transparent body such as a glass and is viewed from the adhesive layer 4 side, the metallic patterns appear in convex shapes. |
