<p>The invention is an improvement on the familiar "Quizzy". The main drawback of this "interactive remote control" is that the interaction is completely out of context with the television program and obviously located in the device. In order to make the television quiz show more involving, the local interaction is masked and is made to appear, also thanks to several stage scenery, acoustical and tactile features, like a telegraph link between a central computerised transceiver located in the television transmitter and mini-telegraph stations or offices provided to an unlimited number of "remote players". In particular, the code of the quiz solution is mimicked within the TV program, consisting of the time interval between two unsuspected references, solely functional for the structure of the game. The invention is an electronic device that limits itself to comparing the time (code of the quiz solution) entered unknowingly by the remote player following the instructions of the television program and the time entered by the remote player himself, again unknowingly, when selecting the choice of an answer to the quiz at the exact moment when it is presented on screen. If the codes associated with the two times coincide, the invention produces a telegraph noise which, being simultaneous with the manipulation of a key on the screen, gives the illusion of a direct connection.</p> |
