It is well known that the coupling brackets 6 on jib arms 4 of a front loader can be adapted to automatically enter into locking engagement with corresponding locking fittings 12 on the tractor, an inclined plane system being established against the brackets as the tractor advances, the brackets thereby being raised to an interim position, from which they finally drop down to a safe locking connection with fittings. Release from this position is accomplished by acting on the jib arms to raise the brackets by means of hydraulic equipment of the front loader. With the invention an easier and more suitable release is achieved in that a manually swivelling cam disc 24 is fitted to the brackets 6, which interacts with the fittings 12 in such a way that, by swivelling the cam discs the brackets are forcibly lifted out of engagement with the fittings 12, following which the tractor can be reversed free of the implement without having had to make use of the hydraulics. <IMAGE> |
