In this device, one of the systems of electrodes consists of beads containing aluminium as active matter. These beads bathe in the electrolyte. They are circulated, mixing with the electrolyte, by a pump 2 and they pass through the electrochemical generator 1 which contains the second system of electrodes. The expended beads are evacuated at 4 at the exit of the installation, whilst new beads are introduced from a tank 10. The quantity of them can be metered out at 9 as a function of the power demand on the electrochemical generator 1. <IMAGE> |
