Composite heat shrinkable film having a central core layer and two external or intermediate layers applied to the two sides of the core layer, whereby the outer layers are made from one or more polyolefins with a flexural modulus of greater than 200 MPa (ASTM D 790) and a Vicat softening point of greater than 100 deg.C (ASTM D 1525) and the core layer is made from one or more polymers with a flexural modulus of less than 400 MPa (ASTM D 790) and a Vicat softening point of less than 70 deg.C (ASTM D 1525).
