The valve is mounted in the window frame or the building wall adjacent to it, having two straight slides (10,22) movable in relation to each other in a housing, so as to bring ports (11,23) in them in and out of line. A lock (8,24-26) allows movement of the slides in relation to each other in one setting, and secures them in the selected position in the other. One slide (10) moves in the housing irrespective of the set position, dependent on temperature fluctuations in the building air. There can be a hand-operated adjusting lever (8), working in an elongated hole (25) in the second slide, and with a body (26) extending through a hole (24) in the first slide (10). The body moves between the locking position and one allowing limited relative slide movement. ADVANTAGE - Simplicity and wide range of adjustment. |
