The system provides transmission of programmable coded messages via a radio link to a mobile receiver, with an LCD display panel. It includes a VHF transmitter (26-72 MHz) sending coded, multi-channel signals with a power of approx. 1.2 Watts in pulsed mode. A coded multi-channel VHF receiver is associated with an LCD display manager, and also provided with a buzzer and a buffer memory which is able to safeguard received messages. The receiver is powered by rechargeable batteries. Coding includes PCM using CMOS integrated circuits. ADVANTAGE - Device warns machine operator of fault quickly, attracting attention with buzzer. Reduced weight, volume and power consumption.
