The unit consists of a body (11) in plastic or rubber provided with a number of longitudinal holes or channels (12) for the passage of the water and a collar (19) which projects around its periphery at one end of the unit to form a sealing ring. The body is inserted and held in position longitudinally in a section (13) through which the water flows which is connected to the water feed pipe (17). The collar acts as a sealing ring between the section of the shower head and feed pipe. Use/Advantage - As a flow reducer fitted permanently in the shower head to economically control the flow of water in public showers which can be fitted to existing units.
