Device for separating emissions from an IC engine crankcase vent comprises a housing (50) having filter material between an inlet (58) and an outlet (56) with a manually adjustable metering valve (62). Pref. the filter is silicon gel or beads, and/or carbon particles. Pref. the filter material is coated with oil or oil enhancing product such as "STP", "Energy Release" or "Morey's Stabiliser".
