An energy production plant which uses a method suitable for the use of a two-phase fluid in the process of producing energy, which is characterized in that it includes the following operations: separating the fluid into its two phases, one of which is a hot gas containing energy in the form of latent heat, and the other of which is a hot liquid containing energy in the form of sensible heat; converting the sensible heat which is contained within the liquid into sensible heat contained within a working fluid, so as to give rise to the production of a pre-heated working fluid; and transferring the latent heat which is contained within the gas to within the pre- heated working fluid so as to promote the vaporization thereof at a temperature and at a pressure which are substantially constant.
