A grid-shaped spacer has a web aperture (5) in a sheet metal web (2) with two spaced and mutually opposite aperture edges (11a, 11b); these aperture edges (11a) and (11b) are opposite an extended spring (7) bowed transversely to its own longitudinal direction and having a tongue (7a; 13, 15) at each end engaging through the web aperture (5). At least one tongue (7a; 13) engages in a notch (11a) in one of the spring edges (10a) opposite the segments of the spring (7).
