METHOD OF MEASURING LENGTH OF PIPELINE

PURPOSE:To obtain a method for measuring the length of a tube beforehand when a cable is to be laid in the buried pipeline. CONSTITUTION:According to the measuring method, a wire body 1 like a pipe having a gushing member 2 mounted at the front end thereof is inserted in a buried pipline 3 and the length of the pipline 3 is measured from the length of the inserted wire body. A compressed gas is fed inside true wire body 1 when the wire body 1 is sent in by a driving device 4.
