This invention provides a method and apparatus for ski sailing such that a mast (4) supporting the sail (1) may be supported above a pair of skis (7). The apparatus allows for limited independent movement of each ski (7) both rotationally and displaced vertically one with respect to the other to allow movements of the skis (7) in approximate accordance with the conventional movements of a ski required for turning the skis, snow ploughing and other conventional skiing procedures.
