The tank has a simple insert (26) which breaks up the wave motion and which extends through the surface of the fuel. The insert is covered with a structured material which has a large number of spaces to absorb the wave action.A simple structure has a plastic fibre mat fitted around the insert or held by elastic loops and hung into the tank. The inserts can be located by ribs pressed into the tank and require no other fitting
