WELDING WIRE FOR CAST IRON

摘要

PURPOSE:The welding wire of low cost and superior welding performance for cast iron which comprises using the Fe-Ni-Mo-base 3-element alloy of the specific composition in which Ni content is lowered. CONSTITUTION:This welding wire is composed of the Fe-Ni-Mo-base 3-element alloy which is within the component ranges of 15%<=Ni<=50% and simultaneously [-0.112(Ni%)+6.8%]<=Mo<=[0.004(Ni%)+12.8%]. This welding wire provides superior cracking resistance, high strength and high-temperature creep chracteristics to deposited metal without preheating, permits the improvement of welding performance and is inexpensive in welding cast iron to itself or cast iron to steel.
