<p>PURPOSE:To provide the electrostatic latent image developer by which sufficient image quality is obtd. with a small carrier amt. and which is used for simplifying the constitution of a device by uniformalizing the electrostatic charge of a toner and speeding up the rise of the electrostatic charge, thereby obtaining the output of high image quality and improving the toner concn. in the developer. CONSTITUTION:This electrostatic latent image developer is prepd. by mixing 10 to 70 pts.wt. magnetic toner having 5 to 10mum average particle sizes and >=10<9>OMEGA.cm volumetric resistivity at 1kHz AC electric field and contg. at least magnetic powder and resin and 30 to 90 pts.wt. carrier consisting of the oxide of transition metals and having 30 to 70mum average particle sizes. The electrostatic latent image developer 6 is deposited as a magnetic brush on a nonmagnetic substrate cylinder contg. a magnetic roll 1 and this nonmagnetic cylinder 2 is rotated to transport the electrostatic latent image developer, by which the magnetic toner is developed on the surface formed with the electrostatic latent images and the images are formed.</p> |
