Reading support - has prop for support surface with non-slip foot

The rest, for a book or magazine, has a support section (1) of about DIN A3 size with a prop (2) foot (5) across the support (1) width, with a non-slip surface (6). The prop (2) swings on an axis parallel to the bottom of the book or magazine support (1). The support (1) has a recess (10) at its rear side to contain the prop (2) when folded in. Pref., the non-slip surface of the prop foot can be a flocking of polyamide fibres of 1.7-22 (sic) dtex, in g/1000 m fibre length, in cut lengths of 0.3-2.5 mm. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is for the support of a book, magazine or newspaper, on a table. The reading support is simple, used when resting on the knees, or in bed for reading and writing.
