Between the first end section (4) of the elongated shaft (10 and the connecting section (5) is an element (1) movable to-and-fro on the shaft around which it grips. The element has a slot narrower than the min. thickness (d1) of the shaft. The shaft and connecting section are detachably joined. The side of the connecting section facing away from the shaft has an adjoint piece (6). One end of the shaft has a larger dia. head (4). The end of the shaft opposite the head has a removable terminal piece (5). The shaft goes through a split ring (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - The puzzle to be solved by the player is to remove a ring with hole in from a bar which has thicker end pieces on both sides.
