<p>A method, mobile exchange and system for transmitting short messages in a cellular radio system, in which method a short message is received (1A) by a mobile exchange (GMSC) of a cellular radio system. In order that the short message transmitted by an A-subscriber through a short message service centre (SC) could be sent to several B-subscribers, the received short message is copied (13) to produce a plurality of essentially identical short messages, and each of the copied short messages is then sent (2A) to a separate recipient included in the group of subscribers.</p> |
