PURPOSE:To provide the image diagnostic device which can easily display a character string on a screen for confirming the meaning of attached display information to be displayed together with an image. CONSTITUTION:At this image diagnostic device, the diagnostic information of a reagent is converted to an electric signal by a diagnostic information input part 2 and processed according to a prescribed method by a diagnostic information processing part 3, image information and image attach information is provided and stored in a storage part (such as a disk) 4, and the image attach information to be displayed among the image attach information is displayed on the display screen together with the image by a display part 5. When any specified key on an instruction input means is depressed, a control part 1 judges a display starting instruction for displaying the character string in place of the attached display information (such as a numerical value) on the screen, reads the character string data of a character string storage part onto a memory for character display and synthesizes them with the image data of an image memory. The display part 5 displays the synthesized image. Thus, the attached display information on the screen is switched to the character string. While the key is pressed, the character string is displayed and when the key is detached, the original attached display information is displayed together with the image. |
