<p>Intermediate floppy disk shaped cartridge for reading a smart card in a standard disk drive or in an improved disk drive with a connecting head. The smart card is placed in a housing (33C), its connector being in contact with the cartridge connector (23a or 23b). Said connector (23a) or (23b) is connected to a transmitter-receiver (8) that communicates with the read/write head of a disk drive. A connector (2) connects the cartridge to a connector inside the disk drive. Removable semiconductor units can be lodged in said housings (33).</p> |
