<p>Improved potassium sulfate salt products in both solid particulate and liquid form are provided which exhibit enhanced salt solubility in water. The products include potassium sulfate, in combination with a surfactant and mixed together in water. The aqueous mixture is heated to a maximum reaction temperature in the range of about 100-210 °F, and will retain enhanced water solubility in either a heated or cooled condition. In preferred forms, potassiums sulfate may be treated with at least 0.1 % by weight of disulfonate surfactant and heated in water to 100-140 °F to give K2SO4 solutions of at least 8 % by weight solubility taken as K2O.</p> |
