SWITCHBOARD WITH OPTICAL INTERFACE FUNCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a network system and a switchboard with reliability for transmitting the small capacity of information as well as advantageous in terms of cost and capable of confirming upto the normality of a transmission line for maintainability. CONSTITUTION:The switchboard provided with plural digital interface parts 3 for connecting the other switchboard and a control part 1 for constituting information to be transmitted through the pertinent digital interfaces 3 in frames to control it is provided. Then, an optical transmission line terminating part 22 for connection to an optical transmission line and a multiplexing/ demultiplexing part 4 for multiplexing frame information from the plural digital interface parts 3 and demultiplexing the information from the optical transmission line for the digital interface parts are provided. The plural digital interface parts 3 synchronize the respective frames and the optical transmission line terminating part is provided with an optical/electric conversion means for converting the information from light to electricity and also from the electricity to the light.
