Decontamination of chemical and microorganism soiling - using electromagnetic waves of low field strength to activate converter molecules at the surfaces to emit radiation to neutralise chemicals and microorganisms

To decontaminate equipment and surfaces contaminated by chemicals and/or microorganisms, it is irradiated with electromagnetic waves at given frequencies. Converter molecules embedded in a medium at the equipment material react with the radiation to emit further radiation to neutralise the chemical and/or microorganism contamination. USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is esp. for the decontamination of military equipment which has been attacked by chemical and/or microorganisms. The use of electromagnetic waves gives effective decontamination action with a low field strength.
