HEIGHT AND INCLINATION CONTROL OF A WAGON BODY

A process for controlling the wagon body of a vehicle may be used by itself or in combination with steel springs. This control of the height of the wagon body is characterised in that it has relatively small geometrical dimensions and a relatively low energy consumption. For that purpose, a further pressure accumulator (9) is connected in parallel to the hydraulic medium feed pump (8), and both work together against the pressure of the hydropneumatic spring accumulator (11). The pressure accumulator (9) may thus be loaded while the vehicle is travelling, so that the pump used need not be designed to withstand a rapid load change after a peak load.
