<p>PURPOSE:To provide polyester resin for a toner having satisfactory fixability and sufficiently high anti-offsetting property and ensuring easy control of polymn. CONSTITUTION:This polyester resin for a toner is crosslinked polyester polymerized from at least one kind of arom. dicarboxylic acid (a), at least one kind of arom. diol (b) represented by the formula and at least one kind of compd. (c) having a diglycidyl group. The amt. of the component (a) is >=30mol% of the amt. of all the acid components and the amt. of the component (b) is <=90mol% of the amt. of all the acid components and the amt. of the component (c) is 1-60mol% of the amt. of all the acid components. The softening temp. of the polyester is 90-170 deg.C and the glass transition temp. is 40-80 deg.C. In the formula, R is <=3C alkyl, each of X and Y is a positive integer and 2<=X+Y<=7.</p> |
