发明名称 METHOD FOR RECOVERING THERMAL ENERGY FROM MOLTEN SLAG
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To recover thermal energy from molten slag, by a method wherein the thermal energy which cooling water in a high-temperature state has is directly converted into electric power by heat-exchangers, in which thermoelements are incorporated, in a slag-cooling water tank and is recovered, when the molten slag is cooled by being thrown into the slag-cooling water tank. CONSTITUTION:Rubbish or ash 1 charged into a melting furnace 2 is heated, is turned into molten slag 3 and is discharged into a slag water tank 4 through the outlet of the melting furnace 2. Slag-cooling water 8 pumped up by a water jet pump 6 is supplied to a water jet nozzle 7 and is sprayed to the molten slag 3, and the molten slag 3 is cooled and is turned into sandy water-crushed slag 10. Heat-exchangers 15, of which the heat transfer surfaces are arranged in parallel with water streams, are installed in the slag water tank 4. Heat transfer surfaces 15b each being in contact with the slag-cooling water 8 are brought into contact with electrodes 15d on the high-temperature sides of thermoelements 15e through electrical insulating layers 15c and heat transfer surfaces 15b each being in contact with cooling water 14 are brought into contact with electrodes 15f on the low-temperature sides thereof through the electrical insulating layers 15c. In this way, part of thermal energy flowing from the slag-cooling water 8 to the cooling water 14 therethrough is converted into electric power by thermoelements 15e.</p>
