PURPOSE:To provide the video camera device mounded with a color view finder which can display in color and with a high picture quality an image recorded and reproduced by the video camera device. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted so that a video signal output from an image pickup element 3 photographed through an image pickup lens 2 is recorded in a recording medium 6, and also, a color image of high resolution can be displayed through a view finder optical system 5 by providing a color image display device 4 constituted by arranging a monochromatic video display device 11 consisting of a monochromatic CRT, and a coloring device 12 formed by combining a liquid crystal element having high speed responsiveness with a color polarizing plate in front of the display surface of the pertinent monochromatic video display device 11. |
