<p>PURPOSE:To prevent dust from being stuck to the surface of a magnetic tape even at the time when a power switch is left turned off with a cassette on a magnetic recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:When the power switch is turned off with a cassette 1 on the magnetic recording and reproducing device, a power-off detecting part 9 detects turning-off of the power switch to send a power-off detection signal Sp. When receiving the power-off detection signal Sp, a loading control part 8 controls a loading mechanism part 7 and stores a magnetic tape 3 led out from the cassette 1 in the cassette to release the loading state and releases the lock of an opener 4 due to a malfunction preventing claw 6 and controls an opener driving part 5 and moves the opener downward to close a dustproof cover 2.</p> |
