<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reference voltage generation circuit capable of extending not only the operation margin of erase verifying but also that of program verifying generating stable reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A resistance 11 generates voltage obtained by the divided voltage of an external power source VPP in accordance with program verifying or erase verifying and provides the voltage for the one input terminal of a current mirror circuit 12. The current mirror circuit 12 and a transistor 19 for pull-up constitute a feedback type current mirror circuit. Consequently, even when the voltage of an output terminal 18 fluctuates, voltage tries to return to original one by the current mirror circuit 12.
