PURPOSE: To circulate fluid sufficiently regardless of the relationship between the width of a tube and the inside diameter of a head by providing a sufficient space in the header. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger comprises a set of tubes aligned with each other and having their ends 4 extending through apertures 2 into the interior of a tubular wall of a header of the heat exchanger. The tubular wall 11 is formed with at least one internal protrusion 18 against which the end 4 of each tube 3 is abutted.
