PURPOSE:To make structure simple and to decrease troubles by carrying discharged toner and discharged developer to a recovery container by using a screw in one discharge path in common. CONSTITUTION:The discharged toner T' removed by a cleaning device 34 is discharged from the toner discharge port 35 of the device 34 at the time of copying, and carried by the carrying means (screw) 39 in the discharge path 37, and carried out to the recovery container 38 from the discharge part 54 of the path 37. Meanwhile, when the life of the developer ends, the developer in a developing tank 32 is discharged and exchanged. At such a time, a developer discharge screw 43 arranged on the bottom of the developing tank 32 is rotated, and the developer D' whose life ends is discharged to the outside of the developing tank 32 from the developer discharge port 36. The discharged developer D' is carried by the carrying means 39 in the discharge path 37 and carried out to the recovery container 38 from the discharge part 54 of the discharge path 37. |
