PURPOSE:To simplify a heat insulation structure by providing subcooling performance in a heat storage material and providing release means for releasing the subcooling performance of the material. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat storage vessels 6 having heat storage materials 5 are respectively filled in sealed state and a plurality of separators 8 for forming heat medium passages 7 for holding the vessels 6 at a specified interval to communicate with an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 are alternately tightly contained in a cylindrical housing 4. The material 5 filled in the vessel 6 has subcooling properties. Since the material 5 remains in a liquid state without solidifying even if the liquid becomes a temperature lower than a solidifying point, electrodes 9 (anode 9a, cathode 9b) for generating heat are provided in the material 5 to release the subcooling state, and are turned ON, OFF by using a subcooling release switch for applying a voltage. Thus, heat can be arbitrarily generated by utilizing the subcooling, and since heat is not generated unless it is released by the subcooling release means, a heat insulation structure is eliminated to be simplified. |
