Mixing head with stirrer, for use with mixes in synthetic resin prodn, has a mixing chamber with at least one inlet for each reagent and one outlet with valve for the mix produced. Devices feed the reagents into the chamber and a driven stirrer has its blades also in the chamber. The stirrer is lifted out or dropped in to the chamber to open or close the outlet as required. ADVANTAGE - The design provides close control on the outlet of the mix and on the subsequent closure of the mixing chamber.
