PURPOSE:To increase a real operation ratio and reduce a material loss a the time of color changing by interposing a color discrimination detector between a cross head and a winding-up bobbin, and providing a controller for switching the winding-up bobbin on the basis of a signal output from the detector. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 1 is covered with a colored synthetic resin in a cross head 5 of an extruder 4 through a wire drawing machine 2 and an annealing machine 3, to be extruded as a colored electric wire 6, and then, is wound around a winding-up bobbin 11 of a winding machine 10 through a movable water tank 7, a cooling water tank 8, and a taking-up water tank 9 in sequence. A color identifying detector 13 for detecting and identifying the color of the electric wire 6 so as to output an output signal to a controller 12 according to the color is interposed between the head 5 and the bobbin 11. The controller 12 outputs a control signal in such a manner as to switch the bobbin 11 in response to an output signal (a detection signal for color change of the electric wire 6) from the detector 13, for the purpose of control of the machine 10. Consequently, it is possible to automatically identify the color of the electric wire 6 with certainty so as to realize automatic color changing work for the electric wire 6 without any vain. As a result real operation ratio can be increased and a material loss can be reduced. |
