<p>PURPOSE:To provide a resin binder capable of giving a toner excellent in fixability, anti-offsetting property, blocking resistance and electrostatic chargeability and adaptable even to an ultrahigh-speed copying machine and to printing with a printer. CONSTITUTION:This resin binder for a toner is based on a styrene component and an acrylic component and/or a methacrylic component, contains 0.1-60wt.% THF-insoluble component and has the main peak in the region of 1X10<4>-8X10<4>wt. average mol.wt. and at least one peak in a region of <=500wt. average mol.wt. in mol.wt. distribution by gel permeation chromatography of the solvent.-soluble component.</p> |
