<p>PURPOSE:To provide a toner having excellent offset resistance in a state before fixing, film resistance, etc., by consisting the toner of polymer particles formed by polymerizing a vinyl monomer in the presence of a thermally cuttable crosslinking agent introduced with vinyl groups on both sides of the thermally cut part in the molecule. CONSTITUTION:The crosslinking agent which has the thermally cut part, such as azo group (-N=N-) and peroxy group (-O-O-) in the molecule and has the vinyl groups subjected to polymn. with the vinyl monomer on both sides of the thermally cut part is usable as the thermally cuttable crosslinking agent for forming the fixing resin of a structure three-dimensionally crosslinked by copolymn. with the vinyl monomer. The thermally cuttable crosslinking agent is synthesized by treating a compd. having a functional group contg. active hydrogen, such as-OH group or-COOH group, on both sides of the thermally cut part by the isocyanate group-contg. vinyl monomer.
