PURPOSE:To weld optical members at the desired positions of the connection plane even when the centers of the optical members are displaced from each other on the same optical axis by forming multiple grooves along the optical axis on the side face of the welding optical member having a circular or polygonal cross section perpendicular to the optical axis and having nearly the same size as that of the welded optical member. CONSTITUTION:A welding optical member (lens) 18a is overlapped on a welded optical member (lens) 18b on the same optical axis and has a circular or polygonal cross section perpendicular to the optical axis and nearly the same in size as the welded lens 18b, and multiple grooves 21a-21d are formed on the side face of the welding lens 18a along the optical axis. Even when the centers of the lenses 18a, 18b are displaced, the welded lens 18b is exposed at the portions of the grooves 21a-12d of the welding lens 18a on the connection plane, a laser beam can be radiated to the welded lens 18b at these positions, and two lenses 18a, 18b can be fixed when they are welded at four positions. |
