The film reception station (1) receives the packaged films and has a data input keyboard (17) for entering the order data for each film, supplied to a control device (19) which verifies the entered order data, and combines it with the identification data obtained from each packaged film, before recording on a data carrier (33). Each film for which the order data is verified is transferred to a collection container (30) for transfer to the processing machine, the remaining films fed to an ejection slot.
