<p>A bar assembly for supporting plates (9, 11) comprises interconnected bars (2, 3 and 4) of a polygonal, preferably square, cross ssection. The bars (2, 3 and 4) are interconnected in sets to form elements (1) with the bars extending at mutual angles to the same side relative to each bar, the bars (2, 3 and 4) of each element (1) being interconnected at the ends, extending in a common plane. Each bar (2, 3, 4) of the elements (1) has a longitudinal symmetry plane extending from a longitudinal rim and coinciding with the common plane. The longitudinal rim extends everywhere along the outer side of the element. The elements (1) are interconnected at longitudinal side surfaces of adjacent bars (2, 4), said side surfaces planely abutting one another.</p> |
