The toner heat-fixing system consists of heated fixing drum (6), image carrier sheets or endless roll (7) and pressure drum (1) mounted on pivoting arm (2). Also fixing drum oiler mechanism (10) is mounted on (2). Fixing drum cleaner (11) and pressure drum cleaner (20) are also mounted on sliding shafts. Pivot arm (2) is moved/positioned by link (3,4) and cam (16). In normal operation oiler mechanism (10), pressure drum (1) and drum cleaner (11) are in contact with (6). For servicing all may be withdrawn by moving arm (2) and slider mechanisms. USE/ADVANTAGE - Design of peripheral mountings allows their withdrawal for exchange/servicing without hazard to operator from heated fixing roller (6). Waiting time for roller to cool down from 200 deg.C is saved in servicing.
