The body is made up of a combination of materials which are in turn made up of one or more elements of hard material and/or hard metal particles. These elements are surrounded by at least one further material such as cast steel or iron. They are then completed into solid spheres. The spherical body may have an additional element, that being a thrust bodies, spherical shells, discs or segments. The volume of hard material and/or metal particles is 10 - 50 %. ADVANTAGE - Overcomes the wear involved in the milling process and improves the life of the body by five fold.
