A tool (10) for prodn. of plastic components e.g. by injection, is mfd. in a thermosetting polymer. The tool (10) has an ejection unit (14) with ejector pins (16,18) extending through to the cavity. The ejection unit (14) occupies recesses (30,34) which are created during tool (10) mfr. Also claimed is mfr. of the tool (10) whereby the resin (32) is cast into a mould in which suitable formers (24,25,28,29) are pre-located to create the recesses (30,34) for the injection unit (14,16,18) in the hardened plastic tool (10). USE/ADVANTAGE - To mfr. a plastic tool for prodn. of plastic prods by injection, blow moulding or foam moulding. The injection unit is easily incorporated in the tool.
