A frame (4) is stably positioned around the circumference of the sheet-metal stacks (3) of the rotor body. The frame (4) is in the form of a grid with openings(4) around the circumference. The openings (5) correspond exactly in size and shape to the permanent magnets (6) to be disposed around the circumference of the rotor (1). The position of the openings (5) around the circumference is determined by the pole distribution of the rotor (1). The permanent magnets (6) are then inserted in the openings (5) and are attached to the rotor body. ADVANTAGE - Allows simple assembly of permanent magnets around circumference of rotor.
