<p>PURPOSE:To enable the free selection of a feed pitch and the like in feeding car body parts on a self-traveling truck running on rails for the assembly operation of a car body by arranging a plurality of assembly stages in series on which at least a assembly operation is conducted on a car body. CONSTITUTION:A monorail type conveyer 10 comprises rails 10a-10c arranged on the sides of the square section of the conveyer 10, the rails 10a-10c being arranged on the bottom surface and the other rail 10d on the ceiling both of the conveyer 10. A self-traveling truck 20 is provided on the rails 10a-10d so as to be able to run freely on these rails. Turn tables 30a and 30b are provided at the four corners of the conveyer 10 and drop lifters 40a and 40b are arranged on the terminal of the rail 10c and on the starting end of the rail 10a, respectively. Further, welding jigs 50a and 50b are arranged on floor main assembly stages Sa1 and Sb1 for a car type A or B, respectively, along the rail 10a and spot welding robots R1 are provided on floor main additional welding stages S1-S3 in common use.</p> |
