A work handling apparatus is provided for loading work including groups of identical works into shipment pallets according to shipment instructions. Works are supplied from store in groups of identical works to a loading machine e.g. a robot, which loads the works onto the shipment pallet selectively, the works in each of the groups being historically identical. A control unit, in accordance with at least one of the shipment instructions, controls the supply to select one group having a sufficient number of works, from a number of such groups for supply to the loading machine. |
