PURPOSE:To make it possible to stack empty drums, and improve the transport efficiency an storage efficiency of empty drums by providing a taper extending from the upper end of the body plate part of a drum to the lower end which comes into contact with the bottom board. CONSTITUTION:For an open drum 1, a body plate part 2 on the drum side surface is formed into a taper-form. That is, a taper is provided on the whole area from the upper end part 3 of the body plate part 2 to the lower end part 4 which comes into contact with a bottom board 5 for the bottom part, and the diameter of the upper end part 3 is larger than the diameter of the lower end part 4. By this method, a plurality of empty drums can be stacked. Therefore, the transport efficiency and storage efficiency of empty drums can be drastically improved. In addition, those for which a bag is fitted inside of a drum can be repeatedly used without requiring a washing after usage, and they can be extremely advantageously utilized from the viewpoint of resource saving and energy saving. |
