PURPOSE:To provide a molding machine in which air discharge between layers can be enhanced when sheetlike materials of liquid crystal resin composite are laminated to be molded in a platelike material having a specified thickness and the platelike material having a certain degree of thickness can be relatively easily obtained. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal resin composite molding machine comprises a feeder 10 for feeding a sheetlike material 9 formed by so extruding both thermoplastic matrix resin and thermoplastic liquid crystal resin that the liquid crystal resin becomes fibrous in the matrix resin, a winding roll 2 for winding the fed material 9, and drive rolls 3, 4 disposed in parallel at a lower side of the roll 2 to support the roll while being brought into circumferential contact with the roll 2 to be rotatably driven. When liquid crystal resin composite having a lowest moldable temperature of the matrix resin lower than a liquid crystal transition temperature of the liquid crystal resin is used, heating means for heating the sheetlike material near the circumferential contacts of both the rolls to a temperature equal to or higher than the lowest moldable temperature and lower than the liquid crystal transition temperature is provided. |
