PURPOSE:To enhance characteristics of surface strength and the like and improve printability by permitting a heat-sensitive color forming layer provided on a support to contain a soap-free core shell type emulsion wherein the specific endothermic peak is within a specified temperature range, as a binder component. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive recording material has a heat-sensitive color forming layer provided on a support. When such a heat-sensitive recording material is used for a cash dispenser and the like, there is a case where ruled lines and the like are printed thereon in advance. However, since the heat- sensitive recording material can only be dried at a low temperature at which degree color is not developed, surface strength enough to withstand printing is hardly obtained. In order to cope with this disadvantage, the heat-sensitive color forming layer is permitted to contain a soap-free core shell type emulsion wherein the endothermic peak of DSC based on the measurement of a melting temperature by JIS K7121 is within a range of 220 to 270 deg.C, as a binder component. By this method, a heatsensitive recording material having surface strength enough even for offset printing and excellent printability can be obtained. |
