PURPOSE:To provide a metal container which can be assembled without requiring a relative movement in the axial direction between a shaft part which is formed on the lid of the metal container, and a storage part which is provided on the container main body. CONSTITUTION:A container main body 11 and lid 12 are combined by a pinless type hinge device. On a connecting part 16 of the container main body 11, storage parts 17a, 17b for a pivotal shaft of a hinge device are formed. Also, on the connecting 16, a guide groove 18 which extend toward the openings of the storage parts 17a, 17b is formed. In the meantime, at a connecting part 22 of a lid 12, a connecting edge circular pipe part 23, and shaft parts 24a, 24b which continue from the connecting edge circular pipe part 23 and work as pivotal shafts are formed. The distance between the storage parts 17a, 17b is made to be slightly longer than the lengths of both shaft parts 24a, 24b at the time of being bent, and appropriately shorter than the lengths at the time of being extended. At the time of assembly, the shaft parts 24a, 24b are slid along the guide groove 18 by a force which is added to both connecting parts 16, 22, and the shaft parts 24a, 24b are put in the storage parts 17a, 17b to be on the same line with the connecting edge circular pipe part 23. |
